Helping Hands: George Mason University Students Make a Difference through Service on Delta Omega Day

On April 1, George Mason University students took part in two service events organized by the College of Public Health to commemorate the Delta Omega Day of Service as part of National Public Health Week 2024. Reflecting on his experience, Lawson Omene said: “I didn’t know much about the greenhouse on campus before volunteering and it was fun to volunteer and see all of the food grown there.” This service event marked Gamma Tau’s second annual participation during National Public Health Week. The 10th anniversary celebration of Gamma Tau will take place on April 25 during Delta Omega Induction Ceremony, welcoming 23 new members into
