Dart’s victory paves the way for potential match-up with Boulter

Harriet Dart defeated Zhuoxuan Bai in a convincing 6-4, 6-0 victory on court 18 at Wimbledon. The 27-year-old Dart maintained control throughout the match, not dropping serve against Bai. She broke the 21-year-old in the 10th game to claim the first set, with only a brief rain delay slowing down her progress.

Dart’s impressive performance showcases her strength and determination on the court. As Andy Murray opted out of singles following a back operation, Dart is among the 11 Britons competing on Tuesday at Wimbledon. Jack Draper, the country’s top male player, will take on Sweden’s Elias Ymer on Centre Court. Other British players in action include Cameron Norrie, Dan Evans, Jacob Fearnley, Paul Jubb, Billy Harris, Henry Searle, Fran Jones, and Jan Choinski. The British contingent will be looking to make an impact at one of tennis’s most prestigious tournaments.
