Nelson and Westhead Selected as Inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2024

Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead have been inducted into the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024. The announcement was made on Tuesday by organization officials. Along with Nelson and Westhead, other inductees include George Benton, Rod Brind’Amour, Angelo Cataldi, Joan (Moore) Gnat, Brendan Hansen, Ryan Howard, Lurline Jones, Cheryl Reeve, Eddie Stanky, Andy Talley, A. W. Tillinghast, Chase Utley, and Alice Putnam Willetts.

The induction ceremony for the 2024 Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame will take place on Thursday, November 7th at the Live! Casino & Hotel Event Center in South Philadelphia. It is an honor for Jameer Nelson and Paul Westhead to be recognized for their contributions to sports and included in the prestigious list of inductees for the Philadelphia Sports Hall of Fame’s Class of 2024.
