One such duo, Vladimir Kuznetsov and Alexei Stolyarov, also known as “Vovan and Lexus”, have been known for deceiving numerous politicians in Russia. In June 2022, they recorded a video call with British Foreign Minister David Cameron, tricking him into thinking he was speaking to the former Ukrainian president. The ceremony that awarded them the Riverč prize took place on Wednesday in the Kremlin, where they were seen holding glasses of champagne in a photo published by RIA.
