Update 1.44 for Gran Turismo 7 Introduces New Vehicles, World Circuit Events, and Additional Features

Gran Turismo 7 has received a new update that includes three new cars, an additional Café Menu, three World Circuit Events, and more. Patch 1.44 for the game brings back the iconic Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99 with limited-time stickers. The update is set to go live on March 27 at 11pm PST as stated in a post on the PlayStation Blog.

The three new cars introduced in this update are the Toyota GT-One (TS020) ’99, the Audi R8 Coupé V10 plus ’16, and the Lamborghini Urus ’18. The Jaguar menu has been moved to the Extra Menus section specifically Extra Menu No. 37 for Collector Level 41 and above. World Circuits will also see the addition of new events such as the European Clubman Cup 600, Schwarzwald League, and World Touring Car 900.

Players can expect official TV animation series Highspeed Étoile stickers to be available for a limited time in the GT Auto / Livery Editor. A selection of 26 stickers including title logos and character stickers inspired by anime will be offered. Fukushima has been added as a featured Curation in Scapes as well.

Gran Turismo 7 was initially launched on PlayStation 4 and 5 in March 2022, receiving positive reviews from critics and gamers alike. Developed by Polyphony Digital, the game combines elements from both original Gran Turismo and GT Sport while focusing on both traditional formats and competitive online racing. Despite its initial release date, Polyphony Digital has maintained a strong user base following its launch due to its developer’s commitment to updating it regularly with new content like this patch update
