The Minister of Employment, Workforce Development and Official Languages, Randy Boissonnault, will be announcing funding to two Calgary-based organizations through the Sectoral Workforce Solutions Program. The objective of this funding is to support the creation of training and career opportunities in the green economy.

The announcement will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023 at 11:30 a.m. MDT. The event will be held at Energy Safety Canada, located at 150 – 2 Smed Lane SE in Calgary, Alberta.
Media representatives who wish to attend the event are required to register by contacting media@hrsdc-rhdcc.gc.ca with their name and media outlet. Registration must be completed before 10:30 a.m. MDT on Tuesday, September 19, 2023. When registering, it is important to indicate if attendance will be in-person or virtual.
