The government has established a coordination table for work in agriculture, where ministries, unions, and organizations can discuss labor costs, manpower procurement, flow management, training, and simplification. This was announced by Patrizio La Pietra, the undersecretary of Masaf, at the end of a meeting held with representatives from Agricultural Redemption.
La Pietra emphasized that the government is committed to protecting the agricultural sector and will do so with the same level of conviction. He also mentioned that a new policy for community agricultural projects is being considered, which will have a direct impact on the agricultural world and its business.
Farmers will benefit greatly from new policies that are soon to be introduced by the government. New discussions will begin with regions and agricultural organizations to identify supply chains where initial support interventions will be allocated. Additionally, revisions to the insurance system are being made to lower the cost of insurance policies for farmers and expand the pool of insured individuals. This will provide farmers with better protection against catastrophic risks.
