Bernie Clarke, a dedicated volunteer at the Lake Placid Ecumenical Food Pantry, spent an hour on Monday morning helping to pack Thanksgiving bags for distribution. The pantry, located at St. Agnes Church, has been working tirelessly to ensure that those in need have access to a Thanksgiving meal.
Linda Young, the organizer of the event, estimated that they would distribute around 275 bags of food over the course of the day. The team worked tirelessly to ensure that each bag was carefully packed with all the necessary items for a festive holiday meal.
The community support and dedication to helping those less fortunate was evident in the team’s efforts.
