USC Offers 2026 Linebacker Dallas Brannon after Visiting

Charlotte Independence High School linebacker Dallas Brannon recently received an offer from USC football. This comes after the Trojans had a successful recruiting weekend in June.

Brannon, who stands at 6-2 and weighs 207 pounds, has already received offers from other prestigious schools such as UConn, Duke, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Tennessee, Wake Forest, and Wisconsin. In terms of rankings, On3 lists Brannon as the 35th best linebacker and the 15th best recruit from North Carolina for the Class of 2026. He was also ranked as the 464th best recruit nationally by On3.

In his previous season, Brannon accumulated an impressive total of 41 tackles including six for loss and three sacks. He also recovered two fumbles and broke up one pass attempt. His natural talent for being in the right place at the right time on the field has caught the attention of USC coach Matt Entz who is eager to work with him. Adding a player like Brannon to their team could greatly enhance their defensive capabilities which they are actively looking to improve upon.

Unfortunately, there is no prediction yet on where Brannon may commit according to 247Sports’ crystal ball. However it’s clear that he is a highly sought after recruit and both USC and other top colleges would be lucky to have him on their roster next season.
