Knife attacker at European Championship party in Wolmirstedt was not under the influence of drugs

In the small town of Wolmirstedt, Germany, a tragic knife attack occurred at a private European Championship party that has left many questioning the motives and circumstances surrounding the deadly altercation. The perpetrator, a 27-year-old Afghan man, was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol according to a toxicological report. The incident began with an argument between the perpetrator and a fellow countryman that resulted in the fatal injury of the latter.

The attacker then proceeded to stab three other individuals at a private EM-Public-Viewing event, leaving two men and one woman seriously injured, with another man sustaining minor injuries. Upon police arrival, the perpetrator confronted officers with a knife and was subsequently shot and killed.

Almost 20 days after the attack, investigators have ruled out any religious affiliations as a cause for the violence. The toxicological report following the autopsy of the perpetrator revealed no traces of alcohol, drugs or medication in his system. However, authorities are still working to piece together the events leading up to the attack and understand why it resulted in such a violent outcome.

The tragedy continues to raise questions about what led to this deadly altercation and what could have been done differently to prevent it from happening. As investigations continue, authorities hope that more information will come to light that will help them better understand this tragic event and how it could be prevented in future situations.
