Oklahoma City’s midtown Classic Charm Boutique was a victim of theft when two women were caught on camera stealing from the store. The store owner, Brooke Donoley, noticed that the two women went into the fitting rooms with four items but only came out with two. She believes they hid the clothing in their bags before leaving.
Donoley took inventory and discovered that four items were missing. She immediately called the police and expressed her desire for the suspects to understand the impact of their actions. She stated that stealing from small businesses is not only wrong but also affects the livelihood of the business owner. Donoley put her heart and soul into her business, and for her, it was personal.
The store owner gave the women until the end of the weekend to return and pay for the stolen items before pursuing legal action. Donoley hopes that by giving them a chance to make it right, they will understand the consequences of their actions and choose to do the right thing.
