Benjamin Dillon Serves at VA Northern Indiana Health Care

Benjamin Dillon is currently serving as the Interim Associate Director of the Northern Indiana VA Healthcare System. Prior to this role, he worked at the Veterans Affairs Integrated Health Care System in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he oversaw daily operations at a Level 1B VA Medical Center serving over 41,000 unique Veterans annually. During his time in Cincinnati, Mr. Dillon led a team of 272 personnel and supported Administrative Operations at all 11 sites of care.

In his role, Mr. Dillon collaborated directly with Human Resources, Office of Information Technology, and the National Contracting Office VISN 10. He was appointed Chief Supply Chain Officer in 2017 at the Cincinnati VA Medical Center and served as the Deputy National Program Manager for the Field Support Readiness Branch for the Veterans Health Administration Procurement & Logistics Office.

Mr. Dillon began his Federal Service in 2001 in the U.S. Army as a Civil Affairs Specialist and completed deployments to Afghanistan, East Africa, and several European countries. He later finished his military service as an Intelligence Analyst at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in 2008. Mr. Dillon earned his undergraduate degree in Operations Management from the University of Cincinnati in 2008 and continued his education with a concentration in Medical Administration from Indiana Wesleyan University in 2011, earning a master’s in business administration.

Additionally, Mr. Dillon received his Black Belt Lean Six Sigma certification from Villanova University in 2014 and holds FAC P/PM senior level certification and COR level III certification. He is also a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
