CHI Health reports more than 36 fireworks-related injuries in Lincoln and Omaha on Independence Day

During the Independence Day holiday, CHI Health reported treating over 36 fireworks-related injuries in emergency rooms in Lincoln and Omaha. The injuries included burns, lacerations, and contusions, with a focus on the eyes, face, and hands of patients ranging in age from young children to older adults.
