The strong thunderstorm that hit Zagreb last night caused a heavy rain that flooded the streets all over Dalmatia. People in Zadar reported that their main roads were completely submerged, causing cars to literally swim in the water. Boris Jović from JVP Zadar stated that they had several interventions due to basements being flooded with a large amount of water as a result of the flash flood.
The aftermath of the storm left behind flooded roads and cars in Zadar, as well as flooded basements due to the flash flood. Residents of Zadar described the scene of cars swimming in the flooded streets, which was caused by the heavy rain and resulting flooding that affected not only Zadar but also other areas in Dalmatia.
