In the upcoming college football video game from EA Sports, players can expect a more realistic experience with its broadcast features. Kirk Herbstreit, one of the announcers who contributed to College Football 25, revealed that there will be multiple broadcast teams that will change based on the significance of the matchup. According to Herbstreit, different broadcast partners will be featured depending on the magnitude of the game being played.
ESPN colleagues such as Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Jesse Palmer, and Kevin Connors have confirmed their involvement in the game. Davis and Howard are part of the College Gameday team, Palmer is a studio analyst and color commentator, and Connors is an anchor. Fowler shared that he spent 115 hours recording his lines for the game, including the names of 700 college football players.
EA Sports senior vice president Daryl Holt mentioned that more details about the announcers in the game will be revealed in the coming weeks. Fowler and himself won’t be heard in every game but instead different broadcast teams will be assigned based on the importance of the game. With a focus on authenticity and immersion, EA Sports is aiming to create an engaging and true-to-life college football experience for gamers to enjoy.
