Bayern Munich reaches agreement with PSG’s Xavi Simons

Xavi Simons, the 21-year-old player currently on loan at Leipzig from PSG, is uncertain about his future at the French champions. Despite having a successful season in Germany, Simons has expressed his reluctance to return to Paris next season.

This summer, several clubs have shown interest in signing the Dutch international, including Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United, as well as Bundesliga record champions Bayern Munich. Simons had an impressive season with Leipzig, scoring 15 goals and providing 10 assists across all competitions. He is now considering whether to stay in the Bundesliga or explore a new challenge elsewhere.

According to reports from Sky Sports Germany, Simons has already agreed on personal terms with Bayern Munich. The winger has accepted the contract length and salary offered by the German club, with potential bonuses that could see his earnings rise to €12 million. Bayern Munich is currently in talks with PSG to negotiate a loan deal for Simons with a buy option. However, Simons has not ruled out the possibility of another season at Leipzig or exploring new opportunities elsewhere. His future is expected to be clarified in the coming days after the conclusion of Euros.
