The first-ever Local Business Dodgeball Tournament is set to take place next month in St. Joseph, providing participants with an opportunity to test their dodgeball skills against fellow businesses. Rhonda Juell, the Director of St. Joe Parks and Recreation, was inspired to organize the event after attending a successful dodgeball tournament in Arizona.
Juell reached out to local businesses in St. Joseph to gauge interest and received overwhelming support for the tournament, which will be held on May 29th at Kennedy Community School. The tournament is open to companies outside of St. Joseph as well, with each team requiring a minimum of eight players.
The goal of the tournament is to attract 16 teams, following a double-elimination format. The winning team will receive a championship trophy that they can proudly display in their office or storefront. Registration for the event is $20 per team and must be completed by May 23rd. Interested participants can visit the provided link for more information and to register their team.
The Local Business Dodgeball Tournament promises to be a fun and exciting event that brings together local businesses for some friendly competition. The organizers hope that it will bring the community closer through sport and camaraderie.
