Debut of New Premium Economy Brand: Hilton Unveils Spark by Hilton in Impressive Opening

Hilton announced the grand opening of its first property in the Spark by Hilton brand. The ribbon-cutting ceremony took place in Mystic, Connecticut. Spark by Hilton is known for its easy-to-maintain design that is appealing to developers. In this instance, DHStone Mystic converted a Days Inn by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts into the new Spark by Hilton design. They were able to accomplish this with the help of a $7.84 million acquisition and construction loan. According to the New England Real Estate Journal, the conversion was successful.

Spark by Hilton offers a range of amenities for guests, such as free continental breakfast, free Wi-Fi, free parking, a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, air conditioning, and a 24-hour front desk. These premium economy amenities allow guests to enjoy their stay without breaking the bank.

The Spark by Hilton Mystic Groton property is conveniently located off I-95, making it easily accessible for travelers. It is also just two miles away from downtown Mystic. Matt Schuyler, the chief brand officer at Hilton, shared photos of the new property on LinkedIn.

This expansion into the economy hotel sector is a significant move for Hilton. Spark by Hilton aims to provide an affordable and comfortable lodging option for travelers. With the successful opening of their first property in Mystic, Hilton is off to a promising start for this new brand.
