Croatia is in a commanding 2-0 lead against Armenia in the UEFA Euro qualifier, and a win on Tuesday at 8:45 p.m. in Maksimir would secure their direct qualification for the 2024 European Championship. With Wales’ draw against Armenia, Croatia no longer needs to calculate their points and can focus on going for three points to guarantee their place in Germany.

Ahead of the match, coach Zlatko Dalić stressed the importance of taking the game seriously and not underestimating Armenia, despite their slim chances of qualifying. He urged his players to maintain maximum seriousness and intelligence, reminding them not to disappoint their fans and to aim for qualification for a major competition.

Croatia is heavily favored to win against Armenia, having won their previous encounter in September with Andrej Kramarić scoring the only goal. Bookmakers have put the odds at 1.20 for a Croatian victory, 14 for an Armenian victory, and 6.00 for a draw. The match will be broadcast live on Sportklub 7.

With just one more match remaining in Group E, Croatia is determined to clinch their spot in the next Euro tournament by defeating Armenia on Tuesday night at Maksimir Stadium.
