Spend the holiday season in Brazil, Indiana with the 4th Annual Hometown Christmas event hosted by Brazil Main Street and the Clay County Chamber of Commerce. The event is taking place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and is part of Small Business Saturday, which encourages people to shop at local businesses during the holiday season.
Local businesses and vendors in Clay County will be participating in the event, offering special activities and promotions for attendees. One of the highlights of the event is a scavenger hunt that will take participants to various businesses in the area. The winners of the scavenger hunt will be announced during a community Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5:30 p.m. at Brazil City Hall.
The event features over 30 participating locations and dozens of craft vendors, providing plenty of opportunities for attendees to shop and explore. Participants can pick up a paper passport at any of the participating locations, then visit each business to collect a Christmas stamp. Once they have stamps from at least 20 locations, they will be eligible for prizes.
To make it even more convenient for attendees, Thrive West Central has created a Hometown Christmas layer in their Crossroads Trails App, which allows participants to easily see all of the participating locations on their phones. To access the app simply search for “West Central Indiana Trail Map” in either Apple App Store or Google Play Store while you are there you can find more information about this amazing event!
