The Central High School football team will be competing in the PIAA Class 3A playoffs this weekend, with a Friday matchup against District 10 champ Hickory at Mansion Park. Central, who won the District 6 championship last week, has been looking forward to this opportunity to showcase their skills on a larger stage.

Meanwhile, Cambria Heights has just earned its first-ever District 6 championship and will now face off against District 4 champ South Williamsport in the state Class 1A playoffs. This Saturday’s game at Williamsport High School promises to be an exciting matchup between two strong teams.

Bald Eagle Area, the District 6 2A champion, will also be playing in the state playoffs this weekend. They will face off against Southern Columbia at 7 p.m. on Friday in what is sure to be a thrilling game. And finally, Juniata, who won the District 6 4A championship, will travel to Selinsgrove for a Friday night matchup at 7 p.m., as they look to advance further in the state tournament.
