Celebrating Educational Achievements: 2024 Health Sciences LEAP Graduation Honors Future Healthcare Leaders

On April 18, 2024, the graduates of Health Sciences LEAP (HS LEAP) were recognized and celebrated for their significant educational achievements alongside their loved ones. The event kicked off with a poster presentation by third-year students of the Health Sciences LEAP program, followed by a delightful dinner catered by a local small business.

The highlight of the evening was a program that included speeches by LEAP Interim Director Seetha Veeraghanta and the presentation of program certificates by Health Sciences LEAP Instructor Erica Rojas. Professor Rojas closed the event with reflections on the program’s impact and congratulations to the students as they move on to the next chapter in their lives.

Over the years, past graduates of the LEAP program have gone on to pursue graduate degrees at various schools within the health sciences campus and have embarked on diverse career paths in a range of fields. These accomplished individuals include aspiring doctors, dentists, researchers, and therapists who are ready to make a positive impact on the lives of patients and communities.

Congratulations to the 2024 HS LEAP cohort, whose names are listed below: Salam Alzouabi, Laila Batar, Rubi Bustamante, Sia Chauhan, George Conde, Ivan Delgado, Hailee Fell, Paulina Jimenez, Maddie Klement
