Celebrating Children’s Day in Denver: Dia del Niño at the Mexican Cultural Center and Denver Museum of Nature and Science

On April 28th, the Mexican Cultural Center and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science are partnering to host Dia del Niño, a celebration of Children’s Day in Mexico. This national holiday is a time to honor the joy, innocence, and fun that children bring. The event will feature music, dance, and various activities for all to enjoy.

Rachel Garcia, the Executive Director of the Mexican Cultural Center, highlights the special place that children hold in Latino and Mexican culture, making Dia del Niño a day to share with all cultures. The event promises to be a dynamic and fun-filled day for everyone involved.

The event will take place at the Denver Museum of Nature and Science starting at 9 a.m. on Sunday morning. It is a day filled with celebratory energy, excitement, and community engagement for people of all ages to enjoy. Admission to Dia del Niño is free, with the added bonus of half off admission to the “Orcas” exhibit and Planetarium shows. With its lively atmosphere and engaging activities, this event is not one to miss!
