Bulls’ Alex Caruso re-aggravates foot sprain against Miami Heat

Alex Caruso re-aggravated a left-mid foot sprain on Saturday evening against the Miami Heat at house. 

He left the game for great at the six:55 mark in the second quarter. He played just below ten minutes of game time ahead of leaving. Caruso scored 5 points and assisted on two baskets ahead of exiting the game. 

Right after the game, head coach Billy Donovan talked about the injury is a thing the coveted forward will most likely have to deal with for the rest of the season. 

“I just consider it is going to be a thing that he’s going to have to handle this season,” Donovan stated. “It is just the way it is. There is just not sufficient time necessarily to rest. He does almost everything he can from a rehab standpoint. I know our healthcare men and women along with physicians felt comfy with him playing (going into tonight). A lot of it is going to be up to him and how he’s undertaking.”

This is not the very first time this season that Caruso’s missed game time from the injury. So far this season, he’s played in 58 of 70 feasible games. He’s began in 27 games. 

The Bulls’ frequent season is winding down to the finish. They have 12 games left in the season and stay on the fringe of the play-in tournament.

As of this writing, they hold the 10th spot in the Eastern Conference standings. They will have the chance to compete in the play-in tournament should really they hold on. 

Caruso is a main piece of the Bulls’ defensive approach and a patented floor basic. He has the eighth-most effective defensive rating in the NBA this season. On offense, he’s averaging five.six points, three.1 rebounds and three.1 assists.
