Da Vinci Announces Opening Date for New Science Center in Allentown

The Da Vinci Science Center, a world-class education facility located in downtown Allentown at the PPL Pavilion, is set to open on May 22. Replacing the current facility on Cedar Crest College’s campus, this state-of-the-art center will offer visitors an exciting array of new exhibits and interactive experiences for all ages.

The first exhibit, Dinos Alive, will feature 30 life-sized animated dinosaurs, providing an immersive experience from turkey-sized Velociraptors to the mighty T-rex. Visitors will be able to explore the inner workings of the human body in the LVHN My Body exhibit and up-close encounters with North American River Otters in the Pocono Ravine.

In addition to the exhibit galleries, the Da Vinci Science Center at PPL Pavilion will offer amenities such as fully equipped classrooms, cutting-edge laboratories, and interactive workshops to spark creativity. There will also be a rooftop terrace available for private events, adding to the overall visitor experience.

With its mission to bring science to life and lives to science, the new science center aims to immerse visitors in unique experiences inspired by Leonardo da Vinci’s insatiable curiosity. Come explore, learn, and discover with us at this premier science center in the Lehigh Valley.
