Knicks acquire Mikal Bridges from Nets in trade

The Knicks made a major move on Tuesday night by acquiring Nets forward Mikal Bridges through a trade. The deal included four first-round picks, including Bojan Bogdanovic, four unprotected first-round picks, a protected first-round pick via the Milwaukee Bucks, an unprotected pick swap, and a second-rounder.

Despite the addition of Bridges, the Knicks remain focused on re-signing free agent OG Anunoby, which remains a top priority for the organization. Bridges played in all 82 games for the Nets last season, averaging 19.6 points on 44 percent shooting, along with 4.5 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.

Bridges joins a Knicks team that already includes former Villanova players like Jalen Brunson, Donte DiVincenzo, and Josh Hart. This story is still developing, so more details may emerge in the future.
