Travis Kelce rejected the opportunity to be a receiver

Receiver, a new Netflix show that follows the lives of professional quarterbacks, has been in the works since last season. However, the producers faced a major challenge when it came to finding enough quarterbacks for the second season. Instead of sticking with the same position, they decided to shift their focus to a new role – Receiver.

When putting together the roster for Receiver, Travis Kelce was approached to join the lineup. The popular pass-catching tight end was asked to take part in the show after Patrick Mahomes had participated. During an appearance on the Bussin’ with the Boys podcast, Kelce revealed that he turned down the opportunity to be part of the show. Despite being interested in joining after Mahomes had signed on, Kelce ultimately decided not to participate. He stated that he preferred to focus on football and was not interested in reality television anymore.
