In Carmel, Indiana over the weekend, a black lab named Bear caused a stir at Canine Cloud Nine dog grooming business by pulling a fire alarm. The incident occurred before 2 p.m. on Saturday at the location on 885 Monon Green Blvd.
Upon receiving the alarm, firefighters rushed to the scene and discovered that there was no actual fire present. The workers at Canine Cloud Nine explained that a client was ready to leave and Bear had pulled the alarm in an attempt to speed up the process.
Following this incident, the Carmel Fire Department took to social media to share the story, detailing how Bear had been responsible for triggering the false alarm. Officials talked to the dogs at the grooming business about the importance of not causing unnecessary alarms and all of them, including Bear, promised not to do it again.
While waiting for maintenance to arrive and reset the alarm, fire crews spent some quality time playing with the dogs at Canine Cloud Nine, making light of the situation. This unique and amusing incident ended without any harm done and provided a lighthearted moment for everyone involved.
