On Wall Street, last night’s main indices closed with mixed results. The Nasdaq fell 0.3%, while the S&P500 lost 0.1%. However, the Dow Jones added 0.3%, breaking its all-time high. After Piper Sandler upgraded their recommendation on stock nature to ‘overweight’ from ‘neutral’, its shares jumped by 7.5%.
The Israeli company Beamr experienced a significant increase in its stock price during trading on Monday by about 1500%. Its market value was $129 million at the close on Wall Street after it reported a collaboration with Nvidia and was issued a year ago when it raised $7.8 million at a value of about $48 million.
In the US government debt market, last night’s bond yields fell slightly and traded around 4.16% for the two-year bond yield and around 4.16% for the ten-year bond yield respectively.
Oil prices are trading slightly higher today as Brent barrels are priced at $82 dollars at this time according to Dr Michael Bafman who wrote that “the volatility in oil prices is expected to remain relatively high due to security events in the Middle East.”
Today important economic data such as unemployment data in Great Britain and consumer price index in Switzerland will be published along with inflation data in USA which is expected to be published at 15:30 Israel time
