AOC has announced a new 27-inch monitor, the Q27G3XMN/BK, that combines MiniLED technology with excellent performance at an affordable price. The monitor targets gamers looking for HDR gaming and features a Fast VA panel with QHD (2560×1440) resolution and MiniLED backlighting that supports 336 dimming zones. It is VESA DisplayHDR 1000 certified, one of the highest standards for HDR, which allows it to display deep black tones and the brightest points on the same screen.

The Full Range Local Dimming (FALD) backlight solution enhances the HDR experience by allowing some parts of the screen to be completely black while keeping others at a very high brightness. The monitor produces 1.07 billion colors and high color gamut coverage (+95% DCI-P3). It offers a refresh rate of 180Hz and a GtG response time of 1ms, making it perfect for fast-paced gaming.

The Q27G3XMN/BK also comes equipped with an ergonomic stand that offers numerous options for height, tilt, rotation and adjustment, as well as Flicker-Free technology and Low Blue light to protect your eyes during prolonged gaming sessions. Additionally, it features Shadow Control option which allows gamers to adjust shadow levels and highlights to customize their visual experience of gaming and to easily see enemies hiding in dark corners. It supports Adaptive-Sync which eliminates tearing and stuttering caused by disproportionate frames.

Covering the sight (Dial Point) feature helps aim accurately in FPS gaming where sight is missing. The OSD features of the monitor can be adjusted using AOC G-Menu software or simply using OSD buttons on the monitor itself. AOC says the monitor will arrive in November at a suggested retail price of €399, making it an excellent choice for budget-conscious gamers looking for an affordable HDR gaming experience without sacrificing performance or quality.
