Josh Allen connected with Khalil Shakir for his third touchdown pass of the day, extending the Bills’ lead to 29-6 against the Jets. With just 6:29 left in the third quarter, this play marked the longest from scrimmage in the NFL season so far. Prior to this touchdown, Allen also scored on the Bills’ first drive of the second half by connecting with running back Ty Johnson. In his first game with interim offensive coordinator Joe Brady calling the plays, Allen has completed 19-of-29 passes for 273 yards.

Following a punt by the Jets on their first possession of the third quarter, it seems that they are struggling to find their offensive prowess needed to mount a comeback in this game. Despite their efforts, they have yet to find success and are currently trailing by 23 points.
