Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism Department Announces Fall Sports Registration with Financial Assistance Available

This fall, the City of Aiken Parks, Recreation and Tourism department is excited to offer flag football, cheerleading, volleyball, and soccer. Registration is now open and will be available from July 2-18. Flag football is for ages 5-12, cheerleading is for ages 5-12, volleyball is for ages 9-18, and soccer is for birth years 2006-2020. Each sport has a registration fee of $65 per person.

For those who may need financial assistance, applications for the Fun Funds Youth Scholarship are available to help cover the cost of registration for football, cheerleading, and volleyball for those who qualify. First-time registrants must register in person at the H. Odell Weeks Activities Center located at 1700 Whiskey Road. In-person registration can also be done at this location.

Children who have played previously can register online at cityofaikensc.recdesk.com. The City of Aiken has partnered with Aiken Futbol Club to organize the recreation soccer league. The club will oversee the league while upholding the city’s values and standards. Soccer teams are co-ed and include girls.
