In Willmar, Minnesota, a 72-year-old man was arrested by police after allegedly threatening to open fire inside a business. The incident occurred just after 2 p.m., and a 911 call reported the man’s threat, prompting the police to respond to the business on South First Street. Despite not having a firearm on his person, the man was arrested.
The caller mentioned that the man had previously visited the business and threatened to return with a gun. The man was taken into custody at the Kandiyohi County Jail, hailing from Danube, located around 25 miles south of Willmar. As of now, he has not been charged with any crime.
