Weekend Schedule for NASCAR Cup, Xfinity, and Truck Series races at Martinsville Speeday

This weekend, NASCAR racing returns to Martinsville Speedway with an action-packed schedule featuring truck, Xfinity, and Cup series races. The festivities kick off on Friday with the Craftsman Truck Series as teams take to the track for practice, qualifying, and a race. On Saturday afternoon, Xfinity series teams continue the short track schedule with their own race. The weekend concludes on Sunday afternoon with the Cup Series taking center stage for their much-anticipated race.

Last season’s winners at Martinsville Speedway were Corey Heim in the Truck race, John Hunter Nemechek in the spring Xfinity race, and Kyle Larson in the spring Cup race. As fans eagerly await this year’s races, they can look forward to partly cloudy skies and a high of 47 degrees on Friday for the Truck race, mostly sunny skies and a high of 58 degrees on Saturday for the Xfinity race, and sunny skies with a high of 62 degrees on Sunday for the Cup race.

Friday’s schedule includes garage open at 10 a.m. for the Craftsman Truck Series, followed by track activity from 3:05 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., which includes practice, qualifying, and a race. On Saturday at 10:30 a.m., garage opens for the Cup Series and track activity begins with practice and qualifying leading up to the Xfinity race later that afternoon. Finally, on Sunday at 3 p.m., garage opens again for the Cup Series as track activity begins with practice before culminating in an exciting cup race later that afternoon.

With Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney among drivers looking forward to racing at Martinsville Speedway this weekend, it is guaranteed to be an action-packed weekend of racing across all three national NASCAR series.
