The second season of Carl Weber’s The Family Business, starring Ernie Hudson, has been confirmed to return on BET+. The premiere is set for Thursday, July 4, with two episodes released on the premiere date and one new episode airing every Thursday until the finale on August 29.
The series centers around the Duncan family, whose strong bonds are being tested as they confront long-buried secrets that threaten to tear everything apart. This time, the threats come from within their own family, causing a civil war between LC Duncan and his own son, who becomes their biggest enemy yet.
Executive producers for the show include Carl Weber, N.D. Brown, Ernie Hudson, and Trey Haley. Producers Jeffrey Dumpson, Walter Nixon, Sean Ringgold, Abe Brown, Greg Anderson and Veronica Nichols also contributed to the show’s production. Trey Haley directed the series.
